The Concretes are a popular Swedish indie pop band, currently composed of seven members. Much of their music focuses on simple melodies embellished with heavy orchestration. The Concretes began with Victoria Bergsman, Maria Eriksson, and Lisa Milberg.
Since their formation in 1995, they have gradually acquired new members, growing into an eight piece band. Victoria was featured in Peter Bjorn & John's hit Young Folks. But on July 24, 2006 Victoria Bergsman left the band and began working on her solo project Taken By Trees. Lisa Milberg took over lead vocal duties on stage, and on the band's third album Hey Trouble.
